	23 September 2023	Daniel Prendiville's track DORCHADAS can be found on the DARK AMBIENT Vol 26 compiation album released on the Sombre Soniks netlabel. The album features tracks by artists such as Mean Flow, Rojinski and Ian Craig. 23 tracks in total. The album is available for download from Bandcamp.
	21 September 2023	Daniel Prendiville's track AER is featured on the compilation THE FOUR ELEMENTS - AIR (VOLUME1) released on the Cousin SIlas Emporium netlabel. The album has 16 tracks in total, from artists as diverse as EISENLAGER, Pete Swinton, Ambi Case and the mighty Cousin SIlas himself. The album is available for download from Bandcamp.

The single is the first to promote their forthcoming album IMPERIAL PHASE INVERSION, which is due for release in the Autumn. Of this year. If you liked the 70s style lo-fi electronics of their debut EP CARTOON PHYSICS, then you will love the new single, which you can download exclusively from Bandcamp.
	28 June 2023	Daniel Prendiville's track WATERWORKS features on the compilation THE FOUR ELEMENTS - WATER (Volume 2) released on the Cousin Silas Emporium netlabel. The album features 28 tracks in total, and Daniel is in good company on this album, as it also features tracks by Mike Benoit, Wilfried Hanrath, EISENLAGER, Mean Flow and Allen Pitts/Thomas Mathie. The album is available for download from Bandcamp.
	18 June 2023	Daniel Prendiville releases his principal album for 2023 - A SHADOW ON THE TRANQUIL. Daniel describes the album as a "Ruritanian* murder song-cycle" and is at pains to declare that it is NOT, most definitiely NOT, in ANY WAY, SHAPE or FORM, a "concept album". Perish the thought! We, on the other hand, describe it is as 14 fine tracks, spanning the post-punk and electronic genres, stopping off at a few points along the spectrum of musical styles. Or "popstyle" for short. The album is released initially on Bandcamp and you can download it here. As a bonus, downloads from Bandcamp have a full-album mix which is really rather good. We would say that, of course... Over time, the album will be released in all those digital platforms that no-one uses anymore. It's all a matter of habit at this stage, isn't it? *Ruritania is not a real country. Just for the sake of clarification.

	30 April 2023	New Reincheque Recordings act, plasmaDOGplasma, release their debut EP, CARTOON PHYSICS. Inspired by the lo-fi electronic stylings of acts such as Cabaret Voltaire, Throbbing Gristle and Suicide, the EP assaults the ears with four persistent, insistent tracks. This music is not for the faint-hearted! The EP can be downloaded exclusively from Bandcamp.
	25 April 2023	Daniel Prendiville's track VARIABLES features on the INTENT 2023: Eunoia compilation album released on the Mahorka netlabel. Other artists featuring on the compilation are Pete Swinton, Wilfried Hanrath and LR Friberg. The album is available for download from Bandcamp.
	16 April 2023	Daniel Prendiville releases the second EP to promote his forthcoming album, A SHADOW ON THE TRANQUIL. HANGMAN'S GAZETTE EP consists of edited versions of two tracks from the album, together with an instrumental demo version of HANGMAN'S GAZETTE and an instrumental demo of a further track from the album. If we say that the EP was executed well, we hope you will excuse our gallows humour... The EP can be downloaded exclusively from Bandcamp.
	24 March 2023	We have just (finally) lauched our Reincheque Recordings Facebook page. And for the life of us, we can't actually work out why it has taken us so long. But it has and that's just the way it is. If you're on Facebook, please feel free to swing by and say "Hi". We hope to update that page on a regular basis and we anticipate some intereting news over the coming months - as in "interesting" over-and-above the normal very high standard of interesting that you've come to expect from us. As it were...
	20 March 2023	Daniel Prendiville's track RADIOFONIIKKA feature on the compilaltion album ORAMICS, released on the Institute for Alien Research/Musique Concrete netlabel. The compilation is a tribute to the life of Daphne Oram, a key member of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. The album also features tracks by Mean Flow and El Zombie Espacial. Trivia fans will wish to note that all the tracks on the compilation run for 4 minutes and 33 seconds. The album can be downloaded exclusively from Bandcamp.
	12 March 2023	NO TITLE AS SUCH is the new collaborative album by Cousin Silas and Daniel Prendiville, released on the Cousin Silas Emporium netlabel. Daniel and CS have known each other online for years and Daniel is a big fan of his releases, mainly in the ambient genre. There have been one-off collaborations between Daniel and CS in the past, and a full album has been mooted for many years. The planets were properly aligned for the first time this year to facilitiate such a project. And here it is! The album features seven new pieces and four of the past collaborations mentioned above. All good stuff! The album can be downloaded exclusively from Bandcamp.
	11 February 2023	Daniel Prendiville releases the first EP to promote his forthcomng album, A SHADOW ON THE TRANQUIL. LA BONNE PAULINE EP consists of full and demo versions of a key track from the album, an out-take from the album, which was supposed to be the album's opening track and a demo version of another track fro the album, just by way of being a teaser. A further EP to promote the album will issue in April, according to current thinking in Chateau Reincheque anyway. LA BONNE PAULINE EP can be downloaded exclusively from Bandcamp.
	9 February 2023	Daniel Prendiville's track CALL ME BY MY REAL NAME, as featured on the COORDINATES volume 10 compilation (see 9 January 2023) is among the tracks appearing on the ATMOSPHERES #386 podcast produced by FUTURE BEAUTIFUL RADIO. Other artists appearing on the podcast include CosmoMoose, Chelidon Frame and Sorrow's Child. You can listen to the podcast on Mixcloud.
